Every year, we welcome hundreds of foreign students through exchange programs. We鈥檇 be pleased to have you join us for one or two terms while you remain enrolled at your home university. To be eligible, your institution must have signed an agreement with 新加坡时时彩.

We will be answering general questions about incoming mobility (learning agreements, confirmation certificates, student card, course attendance, etc.).

Please note that these sessions are for the University of Ottawa students only. You must have a University of Ottawa student number to access them.
All questions related to your courses must be addressed to your host faculty.
Steps to follow
Before you begin
You must be nominated by your own international relations office to go on an exchange.
The and the Faculty of Medicine have established restricted bilateral agreements with specific partner institutions abroad and administer their own exchange programs. If you wish to participate in an exchange with either one, contact it directly.
Explore your study options
You can enroll in courses in different disciplines. See the course timetable. However, courses in the following faculties aren鈥檛 open to visiting international students (students whose home university doesn鈥檛 have a partnership agreement with 新加坡时时彩):
- Telfer鈥疭chool of Management
- Faculty of Education (undergraduate)
- Faculty of Medicine
Faculties may also restrict access to certain courses. See 鈥淐ourse access restrictions鈥 under Step 2.
Participation period
- One term: Fall (September to December) or Winter (January to April)
- Two terms: September to April (regular academic year)
Internships while on exchange
You can鈥檛 do an internship during your stay at 新加坡时时彩 while participating in the exchange program.
International scholarship opportunities for non-Canadians
The Government of Canada provides opportunities for students to conduct short-term study or research in Canadian post-secondary institutions:
IMPORTANT
新加坡时时彩 must complete鈥痶he鈥痮nline鈥痵cholarship鈥痑pplication鈥痮n鈥痶he student鈥檚鈥痓ehalf. Only鈥痗omplete鈥痑pplications鈥痳eceived鈥痓y March 5, 2024, will鈥痓e鈥痗onsidered.
Scholarships for study
Students must also apply to the 新加坡时时彩 Incoming Exchange program by March 31. Both the exchange and scholarship applications must be submitted separately by their respective deadlines. Scholarship application documents must be submitted to [email protected].
Scholarships for research
Students must obtain a letter of invitation from a 新加坡时时彩 supervisor and send all application supporting documents to the supervisor鈥檚 designated Faculty representative. The following resources are available to help prospective scholars identify potential supervisors:
